THERE'S SOMETHING ABOUT MARY

One of the most funniest movie in the 90s, this movie help catapult Ben Stiller and Cameron Diaz careers to new heights. The movie is outright hilarious and heartwarming.

The story is about Ted(Ben Stiller) who met a beautiful girl Mary(Cameron Diaz) during his teenage years. Their romance falls a short though as Ted accidentally got his dick caught in his zipper, which result being carried off in an ambulance, never to see Mary again.

Thirteen years later, Ted decides to track down Mary, and have a second chance with his dream girl. He hires a private eye, Pat Healy(Matt Dillon) to find her for him. Pat finds Mary whose all grown up and was way hotter than before. Pat decides he wants to date her. He stalks her, finds out everything she wants in a man, and poses as just that. Meanwhile, Ted has been led to believe that Mary has become fat white trash in a wheelchair.

As the story goes along almost every man in the story tried to make a move on Mary.

The movie maybe in the 90s but it still give me the laugh every time i saw it.

ALLYSSA MILANO THE CHARMED ONE

Alyssa Milano must have "Charmed" her fiance, cause the two wed in New Jersey last week. Milano and Hollywood agent David Bugliari tied the knot at the groom's family home. They have met in 2006 and became engaged last December. Alyssa reportedly wore a custom gown from designer Vera Wang and walked down the aisle while John Lennon's "Imagine" played. She paid tribute to her Italian heritage with a family-sytle dinner that she said was intended to capture the feeling of her family traditions.

MIRRORS

Mirrors is a remake of the Korean film of 2003 which tells the story a guy that picks up a job as a night-watchman in what is left over of a burned down department store. What starts as a somewhat dull somewhat creepy job quickly turns into a living nightmare. Although for me nothing beats the original Korean version of the movie. And it sometimes break the surprise the movie gives, since i have seen the original one. The only thing i like in the US version is the bath tub scene, where Ben Carson (Kiefer Sutherland) sister Angela's(Amy Carson) mouth got rip wide open. But for those of you who havent seen the US or the Korean version its a nice movie to watch, whith some gore moments and the ending which gives a surprising twist.

NO WEDDING PLANS YET FOR MEL?

In her first television interview since going public with Mel Gibson, Oksana Grigoveria says she isn't sure she'll wed the 53 year old actor. "We don't know yet," says Grigoveria, 39, who is pregnant with Gibson's baby. "We haven't really talked about it." She also says they have opted not to learn the sex of the child. "i'm already buying things in gender neutral colors. It's very cute," says Grigorieva, who also has a 12 year old son, Alexander, with actor Timothy Dalton.

Grigorieva, who is signed to Gibson's record label, was first photographed with Gibson in 2008 on the set of his movie Edge of Darkness. Despite intense scrutiny, she says her relationship with Gibson has inspired her music. The actor directed four of her music videos.

CONGRATULATIONS STALLONE

Sylvester Stallone( Rocky, Rambo) will receive the Glory to the Filmmaker Award at the upcoming Venice Film Festival. The prize, which previously has been awarded to Tekeshi Kitano, Agnes Varda and Abbas Kiarostami, is given each year to an artist who has left a mark on contemporary cinema. "Being honored at the Venice Film Festival is something i have always hoped would become a reality, and now that it's actually happened it's been well worth the wait," Stallone said in a statement. The 66th edition of the Venice festival runs September 2 to 12.

OUTLANDER

Wow. I didn't expect this to be good movie, but its sure is, its like a cross between beowulf/alien. It's a sci-fi/adventure movie wherein the lead character's(James Caviezel) space ship crashes in the Iron Age, among Vikings. The story is simple and yet gripping. The battle between the vikings plus a spaceman against an alien beast who i virtually invisible at night, can be cut by medieval metal( Its one unique beast ive seen so far). For sci fi fans, this one wont disappoint you.

MICHAEL JACKSON MOVIE "THIS IS IT"

Michael Jackson sudden death was a big blow to his fans, Michael Jackson who died on June 25 before a long awaited return to the stage. Fans will be delighted to know that a film showing his final rehearsals will be released at he end October.

The film title "This Is It,"which will be released worldwide, will be drawn from hundreds of hours of backstage footage of Jackson rehearsing and feature interviews with some of his closest friends and creative collaborators.

It is named after the series of 50 London concerts the star had planned to perform for his July farewell-before his death from an apparent cardiac arrest on June 25 at a rented mansion in Los Angeles shocked the world.

The film footage was shot mostly in June 2009 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, other scenes was shot at The Forum in Inglewood California. Sony Pictures Entertainment and Sony Music Entertainment will co produce the film with AEG Live and the estate, while Sony Pictures will distribute the feature, which would amount to a major undertaking as Jackson had not commercialized concert footage.

DONKEY PUNCH

I rented this movie expecting a thriller/horror type of movie, well i was wrong. The story was nice at the beginning but all went down the drain at the middle till the end, you can tell what will happened during the course of the story. The story started out great with the 3 nice looking girls hooked up with 4 guys on their luxurious boat and heading out to sea. Then came the discussion about urban legend about sex technique, enter the subject of a Donkey Punch. The Donkey Punch is a sex technique where you punch a women in the back of the head, as you are about to achieve orgasm in the doggy style position, giving her involuntary spasms in a certain part of the female anatomy(Its an urban legend, so don't try this at home or to anyone). So one of the guys tried this technique on a girl then kills her in the process. Then chaos runs wild at the boat as to who will survive. Well you pretty well guess who will survive during this part of the film. My advice just rent this one just to get a laugh with your close friends about the Donkey Punch technique.

MEGAN DENIED SETH A KISS

Seth Rogen says Megan fox once gave him the kiss off. In a tv interview, he recalled how they both appeared on the ABC late night show two years ago, and he was immediately struck when the Transformers stunner walked into his dressing room. Rogen said Fox was nervous because it was her first time on a talk show, so she asked him to sit with her while she was being interviewed. The actor said he was happy to obliged and figured he could even sneak in a quick smooch because "often the male guest takes it upon himself to plant a small kiss on the cheek of the female guests as they come out. I thought to myself, "When in my life will i ever get to this woman? Now's my chance!" Rogen explained. "So I tried to do it, and to my memory, she physically stopped me from doing it and basically rejected me on television."

PENELOPE PREGGY???

Penelope Cruz star of Bandidas and Vanilla Sky, is pregnant?? Report from certain Magazine said that Penelope Cruz has gotten rid of the sin sticks once and for all. Speculation continue as eyewitness saying, "She's definitely looking heavier, Her boobs are bigger, and her stomach is hanging over her jeans. It could be pregnancy weight."

The suspicions are mounting, since those little tidbits of Penelope bowing out of hosting an event at Cannes because she fell ill, with rumblings that it was morning sickness.

Well if the rumors were true, the combination of Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem would result in one attractive baby?? hmm well see...

KNOWING

I really like Nicholas Cage's movie, especially the late ones (face off, national treasure). And this one?? in not that sure. The start of the movie was great, with all the time capsule thing, and the end of the world theme. The effect was nice, the story was great(I repeat at the beginning only) its can really glue you to your seat as to know how did that child came to know all the tragic events that will happen. Yup all that was great until the ending, when suddenly the aliens appeared, yup didn't saw that one coming though, and the only one they save are children. I dunno what the writers where thinking, maybe they just got tired of thinking what to do next, and just went to the old aliens stuff to finish the movie. Oh well another not so so good Nicholas Cage movie.
