Ellen DeGeneres thinks the paramedics may have overreacted slightly to her 911 phone call. A few emergency trucks and ambulances showed up at Warner Brothers Studios after the talk show host called for help. TMZ reports she felt chest tightness and heaviness and called 911 to be safe.
DeGeneres described the pain similar to having two cats on her chest.
When the emergency entourage arrived, she joked that the caravan was "like one marching band short of a parade."
Later she released a statement claiming she was alright. She doesn't know what caused the chest pains, but she's okay.
DeGeneres also thanked everyone for the well wishes, highlighting the paramedics for "caring so much."
