Eddie Murphy The Worst Oscar Host?

Eddie Murphy, Tower Heist, Brett Ratner, Academy Award, Oscar, Saturday Night Live, Entertainment, February 2012

Funny man Eddie Murphy thinks he is going to be the worst host of the Oscars ever.

The Tower Heist star will be presenting the prestigious movie event in February 2012, and despite executives behind the ceremony being keen to have him, he does not have so much confidence in himself and is concerned he may wet himself on stage.

He says "I think it's so funny that people think I'm the perfect guy for this. I'm going to be horrendous. I'm going to be the worst host ever."

"I'm going to be introducing people and looking straight to the camera. And i'm going to wear a powdered sky blue tuxedo and at the end of the evening, I'm going to urinate on myself in front of a billion people. Just letting you know - the worst hot ever."

The comedy star also joked the only agreed to host the show because Brett Ratner, who directed him in Tower Heist and producing the Oscars, and him joked it would be good promotion for the film.

He told Entertainment Tonight: "I was like, 'You know, if I hosted that show, it would probably get nice little chatter for our movie before the movie came out.' And that's kind of how it happened."

Red Carpet on Awards Night

I really like watching celebrity strut their stuff on the red carpet on awards nights, its more exciting than the awards itself, why? its because of the dress, and the latest fashion trends. You can get ideas from some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry. You get to see the best dress and the worse dress, and the most ridiculous and out of this world dress. Another that's great about it is the questions thrown by the reporters and the answers by you favorite celebrity.

Red carpet on awards night are a celebrity news blog dream. This is where you can get juicy details, gossips and news on your favorite stars. Not to mention the dress ( I mention this earlier but the dress are what keeping me glued on my television). Who's dating who? who's not with someone. The hot stuff can be found on the red carpet, believe me. If you want some to look for some juicy stuff on your celebrity, a friend of mine suggested this site Pop Culture Couture.

ASTRO BOY

Wow i really like this movie, although the story is far far away from the story of Astro that i have seen on anime series. But for the kids today who is not familiar with Astro Boy they're going to have a blast with this one. The movie brings values such as friendship, responsibility which can be nice for kids. The animation was great, the fighting scene was nice too. But for those die hard Astro Boy fans who have followed this character from the start would be really mad since the origin of Astro is way of from the original one. But still for me, i still like it.

HARRY POTTER SHATTERS SPIDERMAN'S RECORD

"Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince" the 6th Harry Potter movie, enchanted movie goers as more than half of North America's total weekend ticket sales following its record mid week opening. Figures shows that the movie earned 79.4 million in the Friday to Sunday period, for a total haul of $159.6 million Wednesday, according to preliminary figures from box office tracker Exhibitor Relations. It earned $237 million from 84 foreign markets for a total of $396.6 million.

It shattered the record of "Spiderman 3" when it opened last 2007 with 381.7 million including foreign sales of $230.5 million.

But "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" still has the biggest opening so far with $200 million, $3.8 million short of breaking the record of the "Dark Knight".

DRAGONBALL EVOLUTION

First of all Im an avid anime fan, anime such as naruto, bleach and yes I like the Dragonball series and its movie. So back to Dragonball Evolution, my God who made this film, i mean the story, the characters was way off, an exact u turn from the anime series, the only correct thing that they've done is the names of each character hahahaha. For Dragonball fans please don't watch this movie. For starter's you got a Goku who doesnt look near the original one, a lousy kamehameha, a midget size saiyan ape(Kingkong is much bigger than this pathetic ape of theirs), a Piccolo who looks like the Martian Man from the Justice League, there's more fighting scenes from the Matrix and a much better one to. I can go for hours writing all the things bad about this movie and from the look of things at the end part, it looks like they plan to make another movie about this. What a very disappointing one.
